time for change

Friday, September 06, 2013

I have been into The Secret ( co-leader of team here at spark) Law of attraction, Tony Robbins and have found them to be a tremendous benefit , I have put my questions out into the universe and gotten so many answers, some very unexpected lol
I found that I am being drawn to become a vegetarian , I have found it to be so enlightening , I am not full fledged as in no milk and cheese but I limit them , I know we see what we look for but I guess I never realized that this was one of them so this is a pleasant surprise .
I have spent many hours at the gym sweating, working hard yet to be disappointed by the scale and no change in anything but my abilities to withstand everyday life and now that is enough, I will lose weight but it will be from a different source, gym is now my way of keeping fit, I noticed that my back hurt MUCH MUCH MUCH less when I get in my work outs, my energy is really good and I feel better.
I spend my evenings at home makng dinner, cleaning , the usual but I realize how much time is in the evening and I plan to get out, maybe to a coffee shop, a movie, my hubby is on 2nd right now so I just have to have enough to pay for me, I think I can handle that lol !.
Among all that I listen to on youtube etc, one program stats that ask expecting and answer and I have been doing that and as I stated earlier I have been getting unexpected answers , remaining open may be difficult at times to each opportunity but keeping in check and allowing things to progress can lead to amazing discoveries.
No one in my family is vegan, I grew up in a meat , taters environment so this one hit me from the left field , I am making many discoveries and learning new options and have not missed meat yet ( 2 weeks now) and the gym , well with this option I have less tension and my focus will become more valuable in maintaining and keeping healthy.
looking forward to more answers and finding out more what life has to offer
Thanks for taking the time to read and share my journey . emoticon

My husband and I are doing Eat to live for the last 5 weeks. It has been a huge step for my meat loving husband but not so much for me. He is feeling great! Follow your heart. emoticon

I have an obsession with spirituality. Not normal, western religion kind of stuff... although that is interesting too... but I also find the concept of getting your answers from the universe to be interesting. Probably because that's the skill I need to develop most -- learning to shut up and be aware of things that don't yell and scream.

I have a good friend who is also going vegetarian. She says it is really making her feel a lot better. I've tinkered around with vegetarianism, but I just can't commit to having to make 2 separate meals, one for me and one for dh. We go meatless from time to time, but not always.

Anyway, good luck with everything. Good eating and good working out!

    Woohoo....go you...
I changed to vegan almost 3 years ago and I haven't missed meat....I still cook it for hubby but I don't like it at all now...

I have been having eggs for the last 6 months and really enjoying them and have the odd thing that isn't totally vegan and succumb to junk food occassionally however predominately I stick to it and feel better for it....

Go you

Good luck on your journey, girl. Are you familiar with Dr. Fuhrmans work? His book is Eat to Live. Really great plant based eating plan.
