I can't be trusted with 100 cal snacks

Friday, September 06, 2013

Confession time.

I knew my husband would be eating chips tonight, so I wanted to get a snack too. I chose Twistos (Asiago flavour). At only 100 cals per serving I thought it'd be a lot better than chips. But I assumed I could limit myself to one or maybe two servings.

Before I knew it, the whole bag was gone. Turns out there were 7.5 servings in the bag. That means I ate 750 calories. Empty calories. *sigh*

If any of you have the discipline to limit yourself to a small serving of something delicious, I highly recommend these Twistos. But I don't think I'll be buying them again anytime soon. They were too good to stop eating!!

Yip we've all been there.....as Oprah says, when you know better you do better! Maybe try a big bowl of grapes or cherries or small crunchy carrots....it might help!

I have done that before...and then there is always that tipping point..."well, I've already eaten this much, I might as well eat the rest". I am sorry it happened to you tonight. Shake it off! emoticon
