Day 47 ~ Am I Losing My Mind???

Friday, September 06, 2013

I think I'm completely losing my mind today. Woke up about 5:15 am hearing a noise that wasn't right, went outside saw a flashing light, but couldn't find the noise and was too afraid to check out the light. Woke my husband up at 5:45 he didn't hear it. I made him go investigate.

Turns out it was a florescent light bulb in the garage that was in the process of burning out (I saw the light outside reflecting off the neighbor's fence from the windows; it just never occurred to me to check the garage).

I'm thinking of signing up for the Great Halloween Race 5k which is 5 weeks from Sunday. I know I can walk the distance, but I don't jog/run and NEVER have. Ever. Really. Like Ever. However, you get a medal if you finish and I kind of would like something shiny. And Spark People has a 5 week walk/jog a 5k training program.

So I think I'm losing my mind....

Of all the things I lost, I miss my mind the most. Sorry, I just had to repeat what someone else said a long time ago! LOL

Go for it! Do it! Get the training, because now that you're thinking about it, you won't be satisfied until you at least try to do it. Just do your best. Look at Diane Nyad.

Most people can walk faster than I jog. You don't have to be fast, you just have to finish. Go for it! You may surprise yourself.

sounds like on of those things like when there is a weird unexplained sound, or something falls off a table somehow.

I guess it's better safe than sorry.

Sounds like your doing well. emoticon

You can do this. Good luck and enjoy your medal first or last doesn't matter. Just do it and keep on sparking.
