True confessions: not as awesome as all that!

Friday, September 06, 2013

Today I got a trophy for a ginormous amount of fitness points and thought, "But it is only the first week of the month: this can't possibly be right!" so I checked back.

Some days I have been double counting.
Not on purpose, but, Doh, if I am wearing my FitBit, and I do every day, then my activity is included. So I shouldn't also put in my Zumba.

Though the tracker doesn't read my swimming, so I still need to enter some water exercise.
Sorry Sparkers if you have been awed by my fitness minutes, because they are doubly awesome, but alas, not accurate.
All I do is 7-9 hours exercise a week, say 480 minutes, plus gardening, cleaning and other incidentals. (and my planks) so I should get my 1000 minutes trophy in week 3, not week one, good grief!
SORRY! Please don't stop being my Spark friends.
I promise not to double count again.

Hey, especially the way that the fitness is set up now, it's easy to do. No sweat!

Haha, that's great. Those fitbit minutes add up - I often feel like I'm "cheating" because of my high numbers. Then I want to add my "real" / "dedicated" minutes, but then realize I'll just make the numbers go higher. Then I ride a bike and realize my numbers don't go up at all. Sheesh. Oh well, all movement is good, right?!

You're funny! No one is worried about miscalculating fitness points unless it is their own! emoticon

    Too funny.

I'm not in awe of your fitness minutes, but I am in awe of you and your dedication.
