Smoke filled job
Friday, September 06, 2013
The watering and feeding is done, checked the times for the Y and I will leave here about one. In the meantime, I had a bunch of brush and weeds to put in the barrel and burn. I waited til they were almost all consumed and then came in to take a breathing treatment. I kind of got into the smoke more than I should have. Now when I get back from the Y the old lotion will go put on and I will be starting to take the edging up in the front yard. I want to expand the flower bed and it is time to do some tilling there any way. I should be home for at least today and tomorrow and then over to pick up Jr. and go to Michael's on Sunday. Would like to see to it that all the insulation and underpinning are put up and that will be one big job done. Next week I am going to start rearranging some of the rabbits and get three cages ready to go over to Michael. One buck and two does will be going with the cages. I don't know how soon he will be ready for the ducks, but I believe that there will at least 3 go home with him and two will go in the freezer if I can corral them. There are going to be three left here. When those jobs are done it will be time to start on the chickens. Don't know how many of them I will be keeping here, but over half of them are going.
Jeff has started eating a lot of eggs. They do not hurt his mouth. So until his mouth gets better and he can eat food food, I will not get rid of too many of the chickens. I believe that at least 7 of them can go without hurting our egg supply.
The treatment is winding down so it is time to get out and get all the tools ready to use out front. I know I will need the wagon and spade, Don't know what else right now. Later it will the tiller also.
I thought I would reach my first goal this morning, but I am still one pound away from it. I am not going to blow it. I can do it and sabotage myself. If I keep busy enough, I don't snack so hopefully I can keep busy enough and I know that i can.
That's it, time to get started again.
