Well, for the first time in awhile, I'm really proud of my workouts for the week! I actually did different workouts and finally got some intensity to my workouts
Sunday: 3 mile run at the beach with J
Monday: did this short pilates video in the morning (J slept in)
Tuesday: This workout KICKED OUR BUTTS!
Wednesday: I actually do this workout pretty often. Great short core workout. www.fitnessblender.com/v
I also did 1 round of this video Wednesday. I had to stop because my lower half was on fire! I blame Tuesday's workout. (J didn't do this one)
Thursday: We needed a quick intense workout before we had friends over for dinner. This one was it. We don't have kettlebells, so we used dumbbells.
Today: Either a run with my sister or doing a video at my house (not sure if I'm going to my mom's house tonight or not)
I've noticed that when I get some intense exercise in, I snack waaaaay less (ok, knew it all along, but I really felt it this week) . I'm just not hungry for an hour or so after an intense workout. Definitely a strong argument for doing my workout right when I get home instead of around 7 or so.
Also, I'm more excited to workout when I have a buddy! (pretend buddy in icon is a guy :) I already knew this too, but when J was working late/constantly in the past month, I had no motivation to get up and do anything. I'm trying to do more running with my sister too, especially since it's cooling down a bit outside.
I'll try to get my workouts posted BEFORE I do them instead of after. I have a giant list of links on my computer, but I've just been choosing them based on my mood and time available.
