Friday the 6th

Friday, September 06, 2013

This has been an awesome week. Started off on Tuesday feeling a bit out of sorts. My youngest daughter and her fiance moved out on Monday. My first time being a complete empty nester. While I miss her, I am also appreciating the peace and quite and less mess around the house. I then began packing and sorting. I donated many clothes, dishes, books etc to Goodwill. More to go through. It is some a feel good, cleansing process. Also am beginning to pack up the non-essentials so I am ready to go at the end of the month. Looks like the end of the month will be move time. Found a place that will be ready for me the first weekend in October. Researching storage units and hotels that allow dogs for a week. A little nerve racking but I have faith that this will work out.

Heres to a wonderful weekend!!

    Wishing you a fabulous experience...

I sometimes wonder if I could keep my house clean if I lived alone (which I've never done), but the few times DH and DD were gone at the same time, I was ripping up carpet, putting down laminate flooring, sanding and polyurethaning...so I've never been able to find out! emoticon
