I Love When Motivation Is What I Wear For The Day

Last night was a horrible night for rest. I was up a few times and each time it was so difficult to fall back to sleep. By 5am I gave up and the dogs were ready to start their day too. Regardless, I decided that I would look at the to-do list I wrote out last night before going to bed and I would do my best at trying to get the items checked off.

Before the sun came up I did manage to get all the bookwork done. Always a good thing to get out of the way. Had my breakfast and showered and dressed and outside before 7am. We had some of our ginormous yellow pines cut down this week and there was quite an impressive amount of pine cones in the yard. In this Alabama heat if you don't get the yard work done early it doesn't get done at all. So I was out there for an hour picking up pine cones and tree debris. It felt good to find myself sweating from the exertion and seeing the finished results. Then to add to that I get back in the house and see that my Fit Bit is registering that I already had 1400 steps in and it was only 8am. I think that is a triple win.

I am so glad I pushed past the fatigue. I feel better for having done so and am looking forward to the rest of the day. emoticon emoticon

    Congratulations on getting up and being active after a night like that. I really need to learn that talent. Keep it up, it's things like that that make us all healthier. You are doing wonderfully keep pushing! emoticon
