Goals for Biggest Loser Challenge

1.) Drink 100 oz of water a day.
2.) Limit myself to one glass of soda a day.
3.) Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies a day.
4.) Exercise for 30 minutes 4 times a week.
5.) Strength train 3 times a week.
6.) Track my food and exercise every day and stay within range.
7.) Lose 5 pounds by the end of the month.

Number 2 is really difficult for me. We bought a 12 pack last night and I have 4 left. That is way too much soda in a day. I will limit myself to one a day (if at all) and start exercising more. On a positive note, I got a compliment today. My father in law said I look like I'm losing weight. YEA! I planned my menu for the month and hopefully we will go shopping today to get all my ingredients.

I agree with BETHIEMAE75. Sometimes we try to do the all or nothing approach and then we get overwhelmed and burnt out.....be kind to yourself....this is a journey, not a race and changing a little at a time helps up have more success in the long run!

    Ohh, Bethiemae has a good idea. And I'm impressed with 100 oz of water - I think I'm doing great if I get in 7 - 8 oz glasses, which is only about half of that!

  Good Luck! 100 ounces of water per day...wow! i have trouble getting in 64. Luckily soda is not something i drink anymore but if you can cut it down to 1 can or none that would be great. emoticon

    If doing all five goals at once seems overwhelming...try doing one each week and then adding the next the following week. Reward yourself with a nonfood item for each achievement. Maybe cutting back on the soda to start with would help as well? I started with One for Lunch and One for Dinner and drank water the rest of the day. Now I only have a NON Caffeinated Clear one at dinner! Good luck to you and keep on keeping on!
