I made it through crossfit yesterday- twice this week. Yesterday they seemed to concentrate on the abs and core so I am sure I will be feeling it tomorrow when I try to sit up in bed. I was not able to make it to the gym this morning but I will be going this evening :) Cardio day! Tomorrow I am thinking about taking a Zumba class with a friend to kind of mix things up and keep it fresh. Today is day five so I am planning on weighing myself tomorrow morning first thing. I know that is has only been 5 days an there might not be a big change but I am hoping to a least be moving in the right direction (down)! I am not going to worry about the number too much because I know that it is a process so I am just going to keep working the plan. Some people say that they have lost 10 pounds on this 24 day challenge- I would love to loose that much but I know I may not. To keep at pace to hit my goal I need to loose between 6-8 pounds by the end of the 24 days. I am trying to slowly increase my workouts. I also got an at home workout DVD that came along with the challenge- it has seven different workouts on it. So I am hoping that will keep me motivated on those days that I just can't go to the gym for whatever reason. I know my gym doesn't have childcare on Sunday so that is really my around the house cleaning day but I can do one or maybe even two of the 24 minute workouts. Staying positive and moving forward- taking it one day at time.
