It has been awhile since I've blogged. Life has been full - and it still is
So, quick recap:
Did 10 sessions with Dr. Chousky in TO for peripheral neuropathy. Got some improvement in my legs, continuing to do the daily exercises and plan to go back there for the infrared/red/cold laser sessions monthly for awhile.
Researching rebounders again. Next time in TO, will bounce on the Bellicon in a showroom there. If I find it to be as good as the over 200 testimonials say it is, I will purchase one (have been saving my money gifts and my reiki teaching money for a long time, waiting for something special to spend it on). I hope this is a gentle way to rev up my physical activity again, especially as the Canadian winter draws closer.
Been trying to get to my RMT more again...she is SO good at taking down the leg pain many notches!!
My dad will be moving into the same nursing home as my mom as soon as he can get there. This has been such a big step for him. We have been watching him get less steady, less active, finding breathing so hard even with the oxygen. So glad he is finally 'on this page' and ready to move to a safer environment where he will be so well cared for (the staff there are so relieved he's made this decision too as they watch him struggle each time he visits mom. As well as packing & moving him when the time comes, my sisters and I will be arranging for real estate agent to appraise the house, and along with my dad while he's still living there, we'll begin to go through the house and move things out, sell them, etc.
DH is back to his even busier schedule now that university has begun. Which means it's easier for me to do my healing & exercise routines as his routine is once again M-F on campus.
Have registered for a one day course entitled 'Cooking with Intuition' later this month.
Getting back to knitting - simply must get that vest knit for my newest grand-nephew before he outgrows it!!
Have done quite a bit of reading this summer, especially while taking 3 hour (each way) train / subway trips to TO for the sessions there. Am enjoying the series of 2 authors: Deborah Crombie and Victoria Laurie (reading them concurrently as the e-books become available at my local library)
Well, there's my recap ... I think I've covered the major things going on in my life atm!!
Blessings to all and have a great autumn!!
