I FOUND OUT ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO THAT I AM A DIABETIC. SINCE HUBBY WAS DIAGNOSED AS A DIABETIC ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO, I HAVE ALREADY BEEN CHANGING MY COOKING AND EATING HABITS. BUT NOW, I AM GOING TO BE MAKING MORE CHANGES TO MY DIET. i'M GOING TO BE LEARNING TO EAT FOODS THAT I DO NOT LIKE. HOPEFULLY, MY TASTES WILL CHANGE AND I'LL START LIKING MORE FOODS. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A FINICKY EATER. BASICALLY, I'M JUST A MEAT AND POTATOES KINDA GAL. GETTING TODAY STARTED WITH A COUPLE OF BOILED EGGS AND SOME JUICE. WILL BE GOING ON A LONG WALK THIS MORNING.

    Just eat a little less of what you like and make exercise your #1 priority. Weight loss makes a huge difference.

  It will help that you both are eating in the same healthy way. It may be a steep learning curve, but you can do it!
