Ditching the diet mentality (and the scale)

Day 3 is all about letting go of the diet mentality that we've all been fed since forever. Weight loss is a lucrative business and I have wasted money and time believing what I've been told. I've been working hard to change the mentality that I have about "dieting" and work on making healthier choices that involve real foods. I've also noticed that I am sensitive to artificial sweeteners so that helps.
Also the scale broke at this house about a month ago. Last known weight was 197. I'm focusing my energy on mind/body health overall. So far I haven't felt too neurotic about not having a scale.
Today was a success overall. I'm practicing a positive attitude, making healthier food choices, measuring and tracking my food, and moving my body.
