Day 159 - Missing My Exercise!

I thought I would never say this...but I miss my challenging walks / jogs. I picked up several double shifts at my work this week. Today I worked from 7 am to 9 pm. I did take a client in a wheelchair and walked several blocks around the neighborhood. After work, my husband and I did our usual mile walk at night. It felt good to stretch the legs, but it is so not the same as my challenging walks / jogs.

Tomorrow I will be working the same hours as today.

Saturday I get off work at 6 pm, so I really do hope to hit the pavement hard before the sun sets. It is now setting earlier and earlier, sigh...

I picked up Sunday hours as well, getting off work at 5 pm.

Another thing I never thought I would say is....come on Monday! That is my "Saturday"! I get to work out after taking my son to school. His district has "late start Mondays". Weird....

Well, getting to bed soon...another long day tomorrow!

    I hear what you're saying about the sun setting earlier and earlier...I've missed some jogs because I've forgotten that I won't have as much time after all my errands to get out and exercise. I definitely need to come up with a winter plan for exercise...I definitely feel it and the scale doesn't budge when I don't work out. emoticon
