Try to be Brave

Thursday, September 05, 2013

It's hard to try to be Brave in the face of struggles but this is how you find out what you are made of. When encouraging my Family I tell them that we are made of "the GOOD STUFF". I'm very good at encouraging others - now I have to take my own advice to get me through these Very tough days coming up too soon. I've benn diagnosed with Non invasive great cancer. I will be undergoing a lumpectomy by month's end.
It really is critical to get your health checked including Mammograms. Mine discovered calcifications which led to 1 Biopsy. I need another biopsy because they found more calcifications.
I of course am nervous about all of the tests procedures & the surgery, but what is stressing me out more is transportation. I won't be able to drive home. My hubby can't drive anymore because he has Alzheimer's.
I have to figure out who I can call to help me.

Check with your local church. Even if you are not a member of the church, they are willing to help out.

My heart goes out to you emoticon this has got to be just awful to go through and with your hubby having Alzheimer's it must feel like your going through it alone.
I don't know your situation maybe you can ask one of your children? neighbor? friend? I don't know your age if your retired or elderly but maybe if you check into the elderly affairs if you are I don't they can provide you with a ride, they do have that again if your not elderly I apologize I just don't know how old you are but they do provide services.
Good Luck your in my prayers! emoticon
