Day 617 most fast paced summer ever and starting to enjoy fasting days

Thursday, September 05, 2013

wow.... where have the days gone? after all the funerals, we had such an amazing time reconnecting with family... invitations led to cabin stays and folks passing through our house. and now i am off for 2.5 days to be with my granddaughters. i have cousins coming through the end of next week, a 3 day trip to tucson and then my parents arrive. so not sure how often i will be blogging if at all.

clothes are getting looser. don't know my weight exactly.... decided not to get on scale so often. today is a fasting day.... maybe i will do a check-in tomorrow. overall i am feeling better and arthritis pain seems better.... much less intense.

need to get the garden in shape and only a few more weeks before i have pack up all the yard tchotchkies. i found out we are going to naples, florida for xmas and we plan to spend next march and april in the southwest. a lot to look forward to with the approaching fall and winter.

lots of zucchini to process and more coming in the garden. i made lemon zucchini bread that smells amazing and i can't eat any until tomorrow! emoticon it doesn't fit in the 500 calorie count.

•asian chicken wraps in romaine from the garden 170 calories
•black bean quesadilla 323 calories

activity- an hour hike.... gorgeous fall like day

Fasting days. Hmmm. I find these very difficult to do. Especially right now as I am going through chemo and it seems that it has really honed my appetite. The doc said "GOOD".

You are doing great and it sounds like you have had some troublesome days. Hope all is back to normal, whatever normal is for you.
