Double dipping with Fitbit & Spark People!

Guess it has been awhile since I posted a blog!
I purchased a Fitbit in June and my walking has increased by leaps and bounds. The first day I put it on I pretended it wasn't there and averaged only 3,500 steps. I thought I walked more than that. Now I strive for 10,000 each day (which I have only achieved four times). My daily average is about 7,000 every day so I figure this little device has doubled my daily walking. It is a great little device that attaches securely and discreetly to your bra ( I wear mine right between the girls). Whenever I get on my laptop it syncs to the Fitbit site to keep track of my daily, weekly & monthly steps. There is some friendly competition among friends and now I have it set up with Spark People and it syncs whenever I log in each day. Man Am I getting the fitness minutes and points now!
I would highly recommend this little device. It is available on Amazon for about $50.
Today I got to my carpool a half hour early and put in 2,000 steps by walking around the parking lot before the crew got there. emoticon

    I am loving my SP Activity tracker, too. I can wear it in the pool--on my shoe. It has motivated me to go out and walk --on occasion and definitely gives me an extra push to get to the pool. chris

    I love my FitBit (which I wear in the same place you wear yours) . . . my daily average is around 7,000 steps as well, unless I walk the dogs. I've gotten as many as 20,000 steps in a day, but that's very rare.

    Thanks for the info. I keep hearing the good and the not so on the Fitbit but maybe the investment is something I should consider.

    I've had one since January and it really, really helps. Just synched it for food too so it projects calories can have for food.
    If I am at work, I am in 7000 range and then if I workout after I can do 10,000. Trying to do that more regularly.

    yes I have it but daily trouble syncing.
    I do mostly 7000 or lower
