That boinging you hear is me, bouncing around the same two pounds on/off/on/off with no rhyme or reason.

Health. This is what it needs to be about for me. Health. Not weight loss.

Sheesh. This thought is always in the back of my mind, but foremost in my mind is the discouragement of doing everything "right" and getting no real reinforcement for my efforts. Too bad health isn't more readily visible.

Since I have started this journey my weight loss has also been very slow and like you up and down but I feel healthier, fitter and stronger than ever before. I bet you can see so many improvements in you besides the weight loss.

Sister~woman~ throw out that #@%! scale. I hate the blasted thing as it only drove me nuts.

The rub is figuring out the plan that works for YOU! Once you've got that figured out, be consistent. Build it a bit at a time~ after all, Rome was not built in one day.

Use those NSVs (non~scale victories) to measure your success: Tape measure will tell you a bunch~ how your clothes fit~ how you move~ how you feel overall~ changes in thinking (out with the "all or nothing" jazz)~ anything positive that is moving you into a healthier lifestyle.

Honestly, I don't read half the SP articles~ if I read ONE more "15 ways to..." or "9 foods that..." or "101 best whatever..." ad nauseum. ACK!

Do like we used to do in AA~ take what you like and leave the rest. Not everything works for everybody. So don't you give up, sunshine~ I'm in your corner. *hugs* BB~ emoticon emoticon emoticon

We are in the same boat, apparently.
Or on the same trampoline.
