And some old things. I have been in a rut the last couple of weeks, where I just am tired of the tracking, the exercise, everything. Now before that would have been my excuse to give up and walk away. Believe me it was tempting. If I hadn't lost 30 lbs and not been so afraid of feeling like a failure, I might have ended this journey like so many others. Defeated again.
Not this time though. More than likely, just because I'm stubborn and pigheaded. Plus even more so I am so close to breaking 200. Mind you I was closer 5 days ago, before I ate 3 lbs, but regardless I'm close. I want to see the finish line, I don't want to be a statistic, and for once I want to finish what I've started. So to that end I've done a couple of things. I have signed up for the next round of BLC, which for those of you who don't know stands for Biggest Loser Challenge. 12 weeks long, I hope to go from the obese category to the overweight category. More of that in Friday's blog. It is always easier for me to push myself when I am part of a team that needs me to pull my weight.
The other thing I'm planning on is getting out the bike. I used to love cycling, the wind rushing by, but now I'm lucky if I can get it to the end of the block. But I figure that if I just keep going to the end of the block, eventually I'll get past the end of the block. So Saturday I plan on dusting off the bike and putting the pedal to the metal so to speak. Maybe go to the park (not on the bike), just a nice walk with Ares and just take a mental break from my head and just breathe.
Anyway, those pics I promised 2 weeks ago will be posted tonight along with some other pics that I'll explain later. Plus stay tuned Friday when I post a BLC-mandated blog (but its something I should probably blog about anyway, so excited). So yeah, 2 more blogs in 2 days, how lucky are ya'll?
