Ohhhhhhhhhh we're halfway there...

Last night was a draw between me and 4am. I still woke up and ate, but I ate less and wasn't stuffed at the end. Also, I wasn't falling asleep between bites like I was the night before. I'm still annoyed with myself, but I'm going to look at the positive -- I only ate 1/4 of the kitchen instead of 1/2.

Not much going on so far today. I woke up a couple hours ago and did absolutely nothing. About an hour ago I made breakfast. Boca "chicken" and Swiss on lo cal bread. I love those Boca patties!

The plan for the rest of the day is to stay awake. Right now I would pay $10 to go back to sleep. But I am really fighting to stay awake. I want to be able to start walking with The Buddy again, and in order to do that, I gotta get used to mornings. Being at the park at 7 am is rough when I"m used to getting up at 8... when I'm used to getting up at noon, it just isn't gonna happen. So, once again... baby steps.

We made out our menu for the next week last night and figured up what we need to buy. It would seem we don't have to buy too much, which is good. If we don't save some money dh is gonna have to be a gigolo or something. Eating healthy and frugally is hard, but it's definitely worth it. We're planning to go grocery shopping this evening, but it will depend on whether dh's check arrives at work. Hopefully!

Now I'm going to go back to the task of trying to stay awake.

    Just a question, but could your middle of the night eating be due to eating too little in the day and perhaps too low in carbs? The middle of the night hungries could be your blood sugar doing a little drop and making you feel hungry. Just a thought. Anyway, you're so great to be making your week's menu ahead of time. A plan made is a plan succeeded at..or something.....who writes these sayings anyway? Keep up the great work!
