So I met with the weight management Dr. yesterday. After a few more medical tests and talking at length, we came up with a plan. I am going to follow the Opti Trim plan. This plan is 4 shakes/bars a day and one low carb meal. I will go to weekly weigh-ins and classes and meet with the Dr. and nutritionists. It should result in 1-2 lbs lost each week. I bought my shakes and a box of bars and am starting this morning.
Everything has gotten so difficult for me lately. Even the most basic things like shaving my legs or giving my son a bath are challenging now. I am embarrassed that I let myself get this far out of control. Right now I feel like the plan will be easy to follow since I am at such a low. But we will see. I tried Dr. Oz's three day detox once (smoothies all day) and got really light headed and dizzy by late afternoon.
I feel really good about this plan. I feel hopeful for the first time in a very long time.
