Update on my kidney biopsy

Wednesday, September 04, 2013

Just wanted to update all on the results of my kidney biopsy. There was no sign of cancer! PTL!!!

However they said that the only thing they could find was that I have diabetes and high blood pressure which is causing my kidney to throw protein into my blood stream. Well we all knew that I had both of those, so not sure that the biopsy proved anything. My doctor in Pittsburgh was hoping that it could be pinpointed so that there was something she could do before it got any worse.

Prayer works for me!!! I have total trust and faith in the Lord that he will see me through whatever comes my way. For that I give Him thanks!!!

I have been having intense and severe pain behind my left kidney as well as discolored urine. Finally was able to get the urinalysis done today. The doctor wasn't in so it was quite difficult to get the orders sent to our Neighborhood Health Center. Was glad to have it complete...now just waiting for the results as it was late by the time I was able to get everything done.

Have a wonderful week!!! ENJOY whatever life brings your way!!! Be sure to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you and give them a great big hug!!! We are never promised tomorrow and need to take advantage of every day!!!
Blessings, love and hugs,
Helen

Helen, wonderful news that there is no cancer. Praying that the urinalysis will help them determine what is causing the pain and darkened urine so you can treat it.

Hugs.

So thankful you don't have cancer!! Very sorry to hear of this very worrisome pain by the kidney :((( Maybe you should have gone to emergency?? Sometimes the medical system's normal channels are not fast enough to catch a crisis :(
Worried for you my friend..

Praise God for the good report on the biopsy. Will continue to keep you in prayer for the pain and for wisdom for the MD's to find an answer to what is going on. Thankfully, it is not a secret to our Lord, and thankfully we can trust HIM to be in control. emoticon
