Life is Sweet!

Wednesday, September 04, 2013

Just had to share a few memorable pics with ya'll as we say goodbye to summer emoticon & hello to FALL emoticon : : : . . .my FAV season for sure!
I am delighted...rather I should say "we are ALL delighted" to be back in school. How motivating a disciplined schedule truly IS! Everyone is in agreement that we thrive when "we're in the saddle"...so to speak... once again. emoticon

I lost my sense of balance this summer with too many commitments - sheesh!
The summer of 2013 was the busiest summer ever for us. emoticon

It is so GRAND to have that fitness edge back again: : : . . . Every morning I head out for some impacting cardio...:::some mornings more cardio than others.
I don't waste whatever time I find that I have...on any given day. I love how I feel afterwards....::gives me energy to teach til late afternoon. I have also included Strength Training 3 days/week instead of 2. So emoticon !!
My body in more ways than one thanks me for a steady routine. emoticon

As of ( ( ( TODAY ) ) ) . . . my son, Joshua, who is :::only::: eleven, is my height!
I am 5'6"....:::& I am SO going to be the shortest family member someday! Lol!!

Wow! emoticon How time emoticon flies when you're having FUN!
I feel like we have a 2nd man of the house now....:::doesn't make me feel old - on the contrary - I still feel as youthful as ever. My daughter who is 10 years old is catching up to him too.....she is 5'3"!
Here's a pic of my 2 sweet daughters. emoticon

....:::and my lil' man, GABE!

We are involved with an incredible group of families who also home school....in this HS co-op, there are over 200 children amongst us....we meet on Fridays.
We have amazing teachers and administration. I am so grateful to the Lord for this group. My children are in classes ranging from Studio Art to Detective Training. The PE teacher is a Gym Instructor at our local Y. She is amazing!
The way she handles 40 kids at a time is unbelievable! They adore her.

I am just so thankful. What a rich life we have! Rich in relationships!
God has blessed us ....more than we have ever asked for. His blessings overflow.

    Great blog! I'm with you on the routine, it makes life so much simpler! My DH is spontaneous and comes up with fab last-minute ideas ("Wanna drive up to Galcier Nat'l Park in MT tomorrow! ?" GASP! Sure--it's only 500 miles way!!)..so it's tricky at our house!

Your children are lucky you're their mom. You're a great influence. You may become the shortest, but I'm bettin' you'll still give them a run for their money on being the most fit! emoticon

    Your family is gorgeous (as are you!). I'm not ready to give up on summer yet but know I must soon enough (sad, sad). What we call "fall" only lasts but a couple/few weeks, so I must delight in a little more summer. I've had the joy in the last couple weeks of showing new international students around our fair land and I'm having a blast! The staff are working big time and in my retirement, I get to play with the joy and beauty the northland brings me. May just have to put together a photo blog before the Fall 4% challenge. Stay strong and focused on the calling you've accepted. What great worship! Love, love, love you! Hug hug -- Evelyn
