OK IT IS DAY 6 WITHOUT A CAREGIVER

Wednesday, September 04, 2013

I HAD TO GET THE TAGS FOR MY VAN. HAVING NO CAREGIVER, THAT MEANT GOING TO THE COURT HOUSE. I DID. I WALKED ABOUT A 1/4 BLOCK AND A NICE GENTELMAN HELPED ME UP ON THE CURB. IT TOOK ME AWHILE, BUT I DID IT. GOT MY TAGS, THANKS TO A NICE POLICEMAN. I WENT TO THE BANK AND THEN BACK HOME. I USED MY SCOOTER TO GET MY THINGS INTO THE HOUSE. THIS I DID ALL BY MYSELF AND I HAVE LADY COMING BY SHORTLY TO INTERVIEW FOR THE POSITION OF CAREGIVER. I GOT MY FINGERS CROSSED. SURELY THERE IS ONE PERSON THAT WANTS TO COME TO WORK. TOMORROW, WELL I THINK I'LL JUST STAY IN BED ( I HURT , OH GOODNESS DO I HURT)

I agree completely with everything MYRTROSE said before me. I am so sorry you're in pain. That makes everything harder.

But, meanwhile, focus on what you've done on your own. Our victories can make us feel better. It's a real lift to realize what you CAN do.

I hope to hear that this next appointment will bring someone you feel comfortable with as a care giver.

I'm sorry you're hurting, but what an accomplishment. Holy crap Pat, 6 days is incredible!
I'm sure you will find someone that not only needs the money but will respect you and work hard. Remember, being nice doesn't mean being walked all over! You are stronger than you think!
