Back (hopefully for real now)

So, my summer has been pretty bad as far as fitness and nutrition are concerned. I was very busy. but really that shouldn't be an excuse. The good news is that I haven't gotten too out of hand. I currently am weighing in at 173 pounds. So ideally, I would like to lose almost 20 pounds. I have been in the 160-170s for far too long. My body seems comfortable there, but I think that's just because I've been there for so long. It is definitely going to take some determination and strictness with my diet and exercise in order to bring that back down. Yesterday was my first official day that I intended to be on track, but I decided to head over to Chili's and grab appetizers with my coworker rather than going and buying some food to cook at home. The good news is that I drank water at dinner and did not cave in to eating any desserts. Also the dog is living with me again, so I'm going to have to start taking her running. It's supposed to be a beautiful weekend so hopefully I can get outside and do something active and fun!
