Well, every week I get to see a different person at the doc's office as they monitor my weight loss. Last week was the counselor and this week I finally get to sit down with the nutritionist. I'm really looking forward to this as I want to talk to her about ways to improve the meals that I make for my whole family, not just what will help me. I have a soon to be 8 year old who is undersized and loves veggies and fruits. An 11 year old hitting puberty who eats like a horse, but doesn't want veggies. And, of course, my husband who would prefer to live on pizza, sushi and mac & cheese and yet manages to have a 36" waist. Trying to find something that fits those palates is a challenge normally. Making it healthy on top of it?
Plus, I'm also curious as to the weigh in now that I've been taking additional fiber. They changed the optifast diet to include the fruit and veggie servings to keep you having something solid and some fiber, but I was still having problems so the last time I had an appointment with the doc (as opposed to the counselor or the nutritionist) she told me to add fiber so I've been taking two fiber gummies (10 calories and plenty of chewing). My weight loss had been slowing down so I'm hoping that helps get things revved up again.
