Sugar Cravings

Sugar cravings are so seriously strong this week. I've been drinking 4-5 sodas a day. My other added sugar isn't so bad. I'm not sure what is motivating the soda except that it makes me feel good to drink it and it tastes so good. Water is ok, but I also really need the caffeine. I also eat white bread almost every day and ramen noodles (maybe they don't have sugar).

So time to FOR REAL wean off the soda. Maybe once a week, but not every day. That will really help with cutting out the sugar. It sounds really hard, but I'm going to really try.

    If you need the caffeine, Try drinking brewed tea. It has MORE caffeine than you think! It is so much better than you think.
    If you are craving the bubbles, try drinking a seltzer- maybe a lemon lime one with iced tea (caffeine and bubbles, just like a soda).

    Just go slow, start one day at a time. Dont think about tomorrow, just focus on today.

    Keep your eating patterns normal and just focus on one thing at a time. It might be terrible to not have the soda for a few days, but in a weeks time, you will be SO proud of yourself.

    Have you tried replacing soda with diet soda or sparkling fruit drinks with zero calories? I like the ICE drinks when I feel like something sweet. (no calories and no sugar)
