Okay, I admit it.... all those people who say that AM exercise is good and maybe better than any other time of day are sooooooo right. I started doing a vigorous early AM (6:00)yoga practice in February. With a few misses and some changes for travel time, I have liked the early practice. Yesterday we returned from a great family visit early enough in the afternoon that I could go to the afternoon practice at my teacher's studio. He and I both agreed I had a dreadful practice full of aggression and ego.
This morning I got to practice shortly after 5:30. What a wonderful time of day to begin stretching and challenging your body with your mind and heart. As you might guess I had a wonderful practice, didn't feel drained as I had yesterday afternoon and know that AM exercise is, for me at least, the right thing to do. BTW, I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON!
