It's all right to be Good instead of Perfect.

My workplace has been surprisingly busy all summer & is almost frantically busy right now. I have meetings and obligations piled up so deep that often I go straight from one to another. (And just for the record, I am not complaining--I am so. very. grateful. that I have a job doing what I love and where I am appreciated.)
But the job and the (15 minute each way) commute takes 11 to 12 hours a day most days. This means that the only exercise for which I have time & energy is my 30-minute walk, first thing every morning.
That's all right. A 3o minute daily walk is Good.
A 30 minute daily walk & weight lifting 3 times a week & yoga 6 days a week is Perfect.
But I do not have time for that at the present, and meeting my work obligations is a higher priority than exercising 2+ hours a day. I did it before, but my entire life revolved around exercise--not a balanced lifestyle. I would rather do a Good job at exercise and devote more of my energy to being Really, Really Good at my job.
