I tell you what, even though its 75 degrees outside do not let that fool with you hydrating!!! In humidity your sweat doesn't evaporate like its suppose to and you lose more of your electrolytes and never get the cooling effect! I say that because the 3 miles run I had yesterday was rough! I did it in 38 minutes, despite the humidity. I had not been hydrating well, and I could definitely tell. I drank a bottle of water before the run, and another bottle during and about 42 oz after the run... I was still dehydrated, that is how bad the humidity was on me, so if you are doing physical activity in high humidity please be careful!
In other areas of the run, I still have a mental battle with myself. I struggle when I get tired or winded, instead of focusing on my breathing and calming down or slowing my pace, I stop and walk. I stop and walk ALOT!! I set my watch to run 3 minutes and walk 1 min, but found myself walking more than a minute several times... I really haven't ran since last week, and I know I need to do this more often if I ever want to improve.
My son looked AMAZING in his football game. They won 34-14, he played on the offensive line and I tell you what, that line of boyz won the ball game for them, the defense had some issues they need to deal with, but I was so proud of my boy!!! :) Also, he got a fumble by ripping the ball out of someone's hands! I think I might like football the season because my Crimson Tide won too! It was a great football weekend.
