So how much time and effort does it take to get to Level 19?
Quite a bit, but it can be very rewarding.
1. spark points for the day and bonus spark point wheel, of course
2. Use the" Quick" Menu to the right of the screen
-my recent posts- I add to yesterdays posts and get the max points for messages
-here is where I check in to various teams. If I play a game , it shows up in :recent posts." Then I can easily continue adding to the game I joined or add to the team I posted on. It is the only way I can keep track of previous posts!
3, -use the top Community button for spark pages-mine--to write me daily blog
-use the top Community button for spark teams-my spark teams- to huddle for max huddle points if I don't already have those
4. On the START PAGE do many things
-track my food and, after tracking, the nutritional information at the top and the chart at the bottom
- track my fitness-hopefully it has been a water aerobics day and I can get a bunch of points , especially when I do 2 classes in one day, Tue. and Thur.
-read the articles shown for the day--and recipe of the day
I try to really connect with spark friends, not just earn points.
I focus on the team I started and be sure to post there in several forums and read how members are doing. As often as possible, I try to send emails to people who post on "my" team.
-or post on their blogs. Under the huddle area is "BLOGS." Those are blogs of members of my team-----or whatever taeam I happen to be looking at.
I love all this. It is certainly not a chore. The only negative is that I often eat at my computer and I should be eating meals and even snacks at the table!
I started sparking in Jan 2008. It is now 2013, Sept. Four and a half years to get to Level 19.
It has been a very wonderful journey for me. Without my sparkfriends , I would not have maintained this 24 lb. weight loss. I have lots of stress in my life at this point--even if I am retired. My sparkfriends
are the reason I still am fairly sane and fairly healthy! I thank you all for giving me info on stress, body pain, exercise, veggies and more veggies, certain meds and supplements, care-giving, sites around the world, etc. etc.
