Robert and I have spent the Labor Day weekend fixing up the house in order to sell it in a few months. We removed the front doors in order to repaint them and had to hang a sheet up as it got up in the nineties. Today it is supposed to be 102 so we may have to turn off the air conditioner when we removed the doors for a second coat.
We plan on getting rid of half our belongings. There is too much stuff and I think it gets in the way of losing weight and having time for leisure activities. Our problem is we are intellectual hoarders, we love books, but we've been taking load after load to Half Price Books and selling them.
As far as all my son's science and art projects - I am taking photos of them and then throwing them out. Keeping our own and other people's memories can be overwhelming.
