Since I have been on my journey to health, Im taking my hubby with me , whether he want so to go or not!. Im only cooking healthy recipes and we have been surprised to find some really great tasting ones! Tonight hubby cooked because we were supposed to have shrimp fried rice. I don't make it as well as he does. So he found a lightened recipe on Food Network that was absolutely wonderful!! Plus I didn't have to cook tonight! The recipe , in case anyone is interested is on Food Network and it is called Lightened Shrimp Fried Rice. I think it has 384 cal for 1/4 of the recipe , which is ALOT! We have also been having at least one meatless night a week and I found a great Portabello mushroom recipe that we love.
I just want to make some cookies but I really don't want them around, even the low cal ones. I never met a cookie I didn't like! So I wont bake for the time being. I cant make cookies and send them home with the grandkids because one of them has severe food allergies and I have to make special cookies for him.
But one day I will feel like I have enough self control to bake cookies and not eat them all.
