Plateaued, I guess. I can't seem to break free from 148 lbs.
So after much research on this site and advice from other members, I've decided to switch up my exercise routine. I was doing cardio 5 days a week on various machines and ST 3-4 days a week, focusing on a different body group each day. Starting today, I'm going to do cardio (restarting my running program) 3 days a week and full body ST 2 days a week. I am even thinking about adding in Pilates or Yoga. I've never really done Pilates or Yoga before, but I know this site has some videos about it.
This is what my new workout schedule will look like:
Sunday, Tuesday- 3 mins warm-up, Full Body ST routine, 3-5 mins stretching
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 5 mins warm-up, 30 mins Running program on treadmill, 5-8 mins cool down and stretching
Thursday - Pilates or Yoga
Saturday - Rest Day
I will try this for about 6-8 weeks and see if it has any difference on my weight loss goals.
