I had to work at 9 am today. I woke up at 6:30 but I was lazy in bed before actually getting up. I killed time watching TV and playing my games on the iPad.
I COULD have used this time to go for a walk / jog! It was cool and foggy outside with high 90's in humidity.
Now that I am home, it is in the mid 80s and I am thinking of food.
I worked in a group home until 5 pm. I have never been there so I was not sure what to expect. Two clients were on home visits and there was another staff with me. So, basically from 9 am to 5 pm, we sat in comfortable chairs in the living room and watched TV, interact with the clients, fed them, and watched more TV.
I had my iPad, so I read a lot and played my games. A very unproductive and lazy day!
I am so regretting not getting in at least a mile on the pavement! I had time to walk 2 miles!!!
Tomorrow, I have to work a double shift, starting at 9 am. Hopefully I WILL get up and outside to walk / jog!
This is my fear...that once I get that dream job of working normal weekday hours, my morning exercises will be a thing of the past...and then I start to slip and start heading in the wrong direction on the scale...
I just hope that I have enough strength to keep up this new lifestyle once I do get my dream job...
