Thanks to everyone who commented on my blog yesterday titled "Worst Night Ever!" For those who asked if I had any other plans for the weekend or a plan B... the answer is no. There's not much going on in my area and the things that are going on this weekend are very expensive and just not worth it. When we got home from being towed I looked up a car rental and it was $250.00 for the weekend and since Monday is a holiday they forced an extra day to be included in the itinerary so it wasn't worth it, especially since we have to prepare for the cost to have the car fixed which isn't going to be cheap. We are putting a hold to all spending that isn't related to bills and food so we can save up for the repair cost. I looked up information online about what could be wrong and the cost is going to be in the ballpark of $1,000, could be less and it could be more but we won't know until we can get the car taken in. Since it's a holiday weekend the shop is closed tomorrow but waiting for them to reply back to us. The waiting is killing me and the not knowing is driving me nuts. To help lighten our stressed out moods I decided to have bbq chicken breasts and corn on the cob for dinner tonight so it will give my bf a chance to relieve some of his stress by bbqing. We are very stressed out right now and very upset about the car which is our reliable means of transportation right now. We can borrow my uncles 1979 Ford pickup but it isn't reliable, gas is expensive, and it doesn't run all that great. Our best option is to have our car fixed which will be cheaper in the long run than taking the bus, taxi, or BART.
I weighed myself today and have lost a little over a pound! I was 244.8 and I am now 243.2 which is great. I'm right on track to get to my next goal of 220 by January 20th (my birthday). I've also lowered my BMI 14.8 points since I started my journey back in 2006/2007. My BMI is currently 33.9 and my goal is to get down to a healthy BMI which will be a weight of 178 pounds so that is my ultimate goal weight.
