Back home and looking ahead.

Amazing vacation, tops all others by far. I went scuba diving, swam with the whale sharks, volunteered with the sea turtle program to collect eggs and release babies and met a guy who's quite great that lives 15 minutes down the road from me. Overall I can't top a vacation like these past 2 weeks. Almost totally unpacked but I have a BBQ to go to and I'm leaving soon. When I get back I'll finish unpacking, writing and get the laundry started. Hopefully a late Sunday night laundry room will be nice and empty. I start work on Tuesday but it's a short week so I won't have much to worry about. I do want to get the apartment in gear for September tonight and tomorrow. Especially since my new friend will be coming to visit, it has to look nice.
I reset my ticker and my starting weight and updated my goal to reflect where I am now. Losing weight is different now at this stage and seeing results are going to be even better than ever from here on out. I came home from Mexico weighing 165 to start off September today and I love that. My adjusted goal now is 145, I want to lose 20 more pounds and I can do it by Thanksgiving with focus and hard work. I felt and looked great in my bikinis in Mexico.
I'm really proud of that picture and can't wait to see the progress I make on this next leg of my journey. I am even more motivated than ever now. Meeting a guy that thinks you're drop dead sexy just the way you are is quite a motivator, I'm sure he'll notice as things get even better. Going to add more strength training back into my workouts again. I love seeing the muscle tone as the body fat melts away. That is a very important part of all of this to me, getting those nice clean lines and building great muscle. It's not about getting skinny it's getting fit, lean, well developed muscle tone, with strength and flexibility from my workout variety and diet.
Rededicated to my purpose, recharged and ready for another new season of positive progress.
