This week I decided to rejoin the gym. I am walking 3- 4 miles a day but now I want to start doing some strength training to start to tone my body. Also the gym has a pool and I love to work out in a pool. I love to swim but I also love to exercise in a pool. So I am very excited to start back. Also as the weather gets cooler I will have a place to go to work out. Maybe one day I will get up enough courage to actually try a class. I am really starting to see some changes. My clothes, especially my pants have become really big. I have not bought any new clothes yet because I really have not had any time but also I am a little afraid that if the size is not what I am hoping for (and I am not sure what size that is) I will be disappointed. Isn't that silly. I just want to stay focused and positive because I'm afraid that anything negative will inhibit my progress. I just can't let that happen! I have never gotten this far before and I am feeling so healthy and blessed that I am afraid that I will slip up and backslide.
This week I tried Kale, I liked it. I sautéed it in a little olive oil and garlic. I am starting to experiment with different types of food. I think this is a good thing. Trying new foods will give me variety in my diet and keep meals fun. So if you tried a new food let me know maybe I will put it on my foods to try list. So I hope everyone has a great week.
