Well, last week I started lifting weights with the Chalean Extreme program. I decided to do this while my husband ran, since I still cannot do that. I can't do anything with any cardio right now. I can walk farther and a little faster this past week, but still need the brace. For a little bit I was wearing an ace bandage type brace at night because my foot would ache. When I walk awhile or have to stand for an extended period in one place, my ankle tends to swell. I'm a little frustrated because I can't believe this is taking so long to heal. I thought I was being a baby and I should just try to push it some, but then it swells. So I guess I'm not quite there yet. So I'm going to keep doing my weights until I feel up to doing some cardio.

    Weights are good, build up muscle! Also, could you do some upper arm punches for cardio? Like kickboxing with no kick, LOL....I do think you are right to take it easy and give it time, especially if it is still swelling.
