Well, last week I started lifting weights with the Chalean Extreme program. I decided to do this while my husband ran, since I still cannot do that. I can't do anything with any cardio right now. I can walk farther and a little faster this past week, but still need the brace. For a little bit I was wearing an ace bandage type brace at night because my foot would ache. When I walk awhile or have to stand for an extended period in one place, my ankle tends to swell. I'm a little frustrated because I can't believe this is taking so long to heal. I thought I was being a baby and I should just try to push it some, but then it swells. So I guess I'm not quite there yet. So I'm going to keep doing my weights until I feel up to doing some cardio.
