Today is the end of my 3 weeks of protein shakes for breakfast and dinner. I must say it went surprisingly well. I have some real favorites and this challenge also gave me the confidence to see a short challenge through. I only lost 3 lbs. was hoping for more but really happy with a loss. We did have a few evenings that we had plans with friends and I only had 1 shake those days. I also had more sweets than I should have. Even though I may have stayed within calorie range my eating wasn't as clean as it should be. Exercise is my September challenge. My 51st birthday is Monday and I want to start my 52nd year off with much more determination than I did my 51st year. When I went on my girls cruise last year for my 50th birthday party I weighed 219. Since that day I gained back 16 lbs. here it is a year later. 365 days came and went and I let them go by with not much progress, but the last 3 weeks have been very promising.
