Well I went to the farmers market for the week. I had a great shopping trip, spending $16 for 2 eggrlants, 3 green pepper, one red and one yellow bell pepper. 4 lemons, 4 limes, 5 plabano peppers, 5 tomatoes, 2 lbs fingering potatoes, large bunch parsley, and one bunch basil, and a pound of ginger and a large head of cabbage.
This has been the way I found to really save on my grocery spending and have fresh produce. We did not need any fruit as a fellow at work brought Hubby some peaches and some fresh apples. I will be using these also in my weekly menu.
