It never rains but it pours

Friday, August 30, 2013

I am fed up and annoyed. Thanks to more cut backs I am now back to square one in the money department. I had got things fairly under control and getting both ends to just about meet when the rug is pulled from under my feet.
Details are long and boring lets just say money is in very short supply (thanks to the Coalition of Cameron and Clegg).
So we are to see the Bank Manager Tuesday or Wednesday and find out if they can help. We went in today to explain things and they were very good and said they would see what they could do to help out short term. They will phone us with a time and date.

We have cut things back as far as we can and have no idea what to cut back on next. We have gone through stuff until we are both at our wits end to see a way clear.
So what the Bank will come up with is a mystery to us but at least we are trying to do something. A nice pot of money would be nice right now.

Still I have not headed for junk food to cheer myself up usually when things get tough and I am worried I head for comfort foods. So I have learnt something at least, I am also exercising and that was also something I stopped doing when worried about stuff.
So another lesson learnt I am Worth it, no matter what happens around me I am still on track now that is huge Victory for me. All I need now is for the Bank to come up with something.

Like I said it never rains but it pours it is just one thing after another and I am fed up sorting stuff out, yes it could be worse and I am thankful for what we have and count my blessings it is just frustrating to be in this position when it is not of our making.
It will be sorted out eventually just not sure how or when right now.

Life does have a way of continuing to slam us when we are struggling - the good thing is that you didn't drain yourself more by using food to medicate and then find that the emotions of frustration and disappointment drain you even more. Struggling is hard enough without the mistake of using food to solve a problem that food can't solve. You should be proud all too often WE make the mistake of adding to our own troubles by sabotage with food. Prayers and positive thoughts being sent your way.

So sorry to hear that things have hit the buffers again. Does MK have a CAB office still? They may be able to advise of some benefits that you could be claiming that you are not. Hassle I know but every bit counts.
Good for you for not turning to the sofa and comfort foods.
Fingers crossed that things sort themselves out soon and you can settle a bit.

Good job of not letting a very stressful event distract you from your fitness goals. Whatever we have to deal with, it will be easier if we are healthy. Hang in there.

I'm so sorry that you're also caught in the trap that others have laid. It happens here too with the cut backs. Especially the cut backs for people that are on disability incomes, and Medicare. All I can do, is just as you mentioned, "Be thankful!" It really doesn't matter what happens, as it's all in divine control. God knew all of this, before we were even a gleam in our mother's eye. God had our life mapped out for us, from the beginning of time, and that's why I just leave EVERYTHING at God's feet!!

Be blessed,

- Nancy Jean -
