Day 153 - Measurement Day!

Friday, August 30, 2013

This morning, I decided to measure myself two days earlier since I can measure myself without the family around. I seriously doubt that two days earlier would give me different results...

Well, I lost .5 inches in my waist and 1.5 inches in my hips! I also lost 1 inch in my thighs! So excited! I am still holding slightly above my lowest weigh in. Last week, on the day of my lowest, my husband and I went to Chili's..and the next two days afterwards, I ate well above my calorie ranges which added 3 pounds. Boo! I am so motivated to work that off!

On a whim, I decided to try on a pair of size 14 shorts. Last month or two, I couldn't even get them up past my butt! Today, not only could I slide them on, but I can button and zip them! They are very snug but not tight to the point of not breathing.

SIZE 14 !!!!!!!!!! OMG !!!!!!!!!!!

I thought for sure I would not be able to wear my collection of size 14 shorts this summer...or next year because I should be in a smaller size by then! Yup, I have in my closet size 8's to size 18. Most of my clothes are size 12.

Well, I think it is definitely time to start weeding out my size 18 clothes...and soon my size 16! I took over my son's old bedroom closet with extra clothes and my daughter will be moving into that room in several weeks...

Well, off to walking / jogging before it gets too hot!
