The dog is trying to convince me to go to bed. Went out to my parents' house today to talk with several homeschooling families about scheduling activities. My tuesday morning walks look like they have gone from me and three girls (and 2 dogs) to about 8 people, including one mom. They are all girls. What do you call a group of girls? A "giggle"?

Went paddling at Presque Isle tonight. It was the last organized evening paddle there. Good thing we put our deck lamps on our boats, because it was pretty dark by the time we made it back to the launch. It was an easy paddle. It looks like Monday we might be going back up to the Niagara River and paddling. I haven't decided for certain if I am doing it. There is a lot of current in that section of the river and I paddle a 12 foot boat. I don't want to get swept over Niagara Falls. That would suck!

a 'giggle' of girls will certainly add variety to your walk once a week- may add frustration if it becomes more often than that.

Let us know how walking in a group of 8 people works out! I used to love walking with my 6' tall father as we had very compatible strides. But my tiny 5'2" mother always wanted to walk with us too and that just slowed us down. Couldn't say anything though. Hope your group works out and everyone has a good time!
