My life is busy. At least that has been my excuse. But I get so much motivation from reading the wonderful blogs here on SP. I have lost some weight but stalled out for a long time now. My habits of tracking my meals on SP was the first to be set aside because I was too "busy". That was also when I stopped making progress.
My exercise program has started to slide even further and my walks have gotten shorter because of the intense heat outside. Very inconsistant. So I am ready for some changes.
I decided my first change will be nutrition. I am going to try making a smoothie for breakfast. I have never really done this with lots of greens. Only fruits. Smoothies were a BIG help to me back when I was going through hot flashes and adding Tofu to a fruit smoothie every day made a world of difference. It has been called a life saver by several friends as we all seemed to reach this stage together!
But now I am wanting to do something for myself that will give me a boost and make me feel like I am trying again. So tomorrow I will go shopping. I just read a wonderful older blog by CRAFTSFAN1 on how she does preparation in advance to make her daily smoothie easy to fix. I wrote out her instructions and plan to put into use ASAP! Frozen smoothies sound wonderful to me!
