Catching Up on Pledge Days

I made it to the gym yesterday and had a good 30 minute run/walk followed by 10 minutes of stretching & yoga. For the 1st time since I got it my Fitbit I had over 14,000 steps!

Today I went lap swimming. I didn't stay as long. Too many people were coming into the sauna & hot tubs and I was their entertainment. It made me self-conscious. Maybe when I can swim more than 5 lengths of the pool without stopping I won't be. (It's a small pool so 5 lengths is not that far.)

I followed The Plan yesterday and only ate friendly foods that had been tested and I lost 1.6 pounds overnight. That's how inflamed I am right now! I'm getting back on track and as soon as I feel like I am in a non-reactive state I'll start testing the things I've been eating - systematically. I'm going to start with the things I like first - like almonds, chickpeas, and tomatoes. They are the basis of so many of my favorite foods - almond butter, hummus, and spaghetti sauce.
