How do I turn down cake?!!

Thursday, August 29, 2013

So.. For anyone who hasn't read my personal information on my page, I am a hobby cake decorator:) I mainly do them for friends and family, in the hope that some day I can start a business from home doing them full time!

BUT.. It's not the best hobby to have when your trying to lose weight is it!

So tomorrow I have a cake to bake and usually after cutting the top off it, it goes on a plate for me to eat! I'm going to have to get into the habit of putting it straight into the bin! It's hard when cake is my favourite naughty food!

And then once I've overcome the left over cake, i then have to resist the left over vanilla buttercream, or chocolate ganache! How I'm going to do this ill never know!!

But I best get used to it! I have 8 cakes to do for September, that's a lot of left over cake that's going to mess up my progress! So lots of motivation is needed for September!!

I will not give in to the cake!!

WOW - now that's a huge challenge. I can't imagine the determination that it will take to resist the temptation - never mind breaking the old habit of "taste testing".

Stop thinking of it as cake - it's overprocessed wheat that has been stipped of nutrients and mixed with highly refined extracted plant sweetener that will blow your blood sugar level up then leave you in a slump - not at all good for your dear sweet body.
