Our Biggest Loser Challenge 22 officially ended yesterday. I really enjoyed being on this challenge. I met so many nice spark buddies & learned so much! In spite of having to deal with 3 birthday parties with loads of fattening unhealthy food I still managed to lose weight each week which wasn't easy for me! I did go off track a little for 2 weeks during that time. I truly believe if it wasn't for this challenge I would still be off track & gaining weight. The comradery on these teams are fantastic! I did some soul searching toward the end of the challenge. What got me started was what one of our leaders wrote me. "You certainly found your key to success." I questioned myself, "What was my key to sucess? Why was I so successful this time & not in the past?" I searched deep inside & asked the question? A
went on! These are the 2 things that came to me.
1) I MUST BE PATIENT WITH MYSELF & NOT GET DISCOURAGED! Their are times I will go off track. That's ok, as long as I try to get back on track ASAP! Their are times when the scale will stay the same for a few weeks or even go
a pound. As long as I know in my heart I am trying my best things will be ok in time! I must believe that!
2) STAY FOCUSED ON THE FUTURE! This one was very important to me. I must not look back & beat myself up for all my mistakes! I have as one of my favorite quotes listed on my home page, "IF AT 1st YOU DON'T SUCCEED YOUR RUNNING ABOUT AVERAGE." I guess what I'm trying to say is learn from your mistakes but don't dwell on them. Look down the road to the future! I must focus on my goals!
My half-way point!---214 lbs.
My next ville. 200ville, 190ville, etc. My next ten pounds!
Entering into Onederland! YES!!
No longer obese!
My final goal down the road, 152 lbs. NO LONGER OVERWEIGHT!
These are the goals I'm going to keep my eyes focused on! So as you can see this challenge has been a tremendous success for me personally. I wouldn't have traded it for all the money in the world! I was truly impressed at all the hard work the leaders invest on these biggest loser challenges.
Since June 5th I have lost a total of 33 lbs. & 15 1/2 inches. I weighed in this morning at 217 lbs. A total of 35 lbs. I can truly say I am proud of my accomplishments!
