Well, hello there!

Thursday, August 29, 2013

After posting 190 as my weigh in weight on the 30 day challenge yesterday, I woke to a surprise -- the scale read 187! Guess I'd been experiencing more bloat than I realized. Not sure if that was from the stings, from AF, or all of the above -- but I'll take it! I've been waiting to see this number on the scale for WEEKS. I'm now only a pound away from my pre-pregnancy weight! Miscarriage pounds, I'm beating you!

I have been eating in the middle of my range the past two days (instead of the bottom). Not sure if that is what finally put me over or not, but I'm certainly going to keep it up!

I'm going to get in some exercise today (which I haven't really done since the yellow jacket stings -- except for the PTSD running I've done when I hear something buzzing!). Riding my bike a few miles to a meeting (which also means a few miles back!) Maybe by Saturday's 5% weigh in I'll see 186 . . . (no worries, not getting hopes up TOO high . . . hope the 187 decimal will at least be on the low end by then!)

It is! I'm so excited. I was really wanting to weigh less for this next pregnancy, and was going to settle for just hoping to be where I was before trying. Looks like now I will be able to accomplish both goals (although the second might only be by a pound or two -- but hey, I'll take it). Just gotta keep working!

This morning a friend tagged me in a photo on facebook -- of the Winnie the Pooh book she'd read to her two sons (twins). It was Piglet being chased by a line of bees. It is now my cover photo (ha).

Congratulations and welcome back to the 180s! I'm glad you are feeling well enough to do a bit of exercise today. What happened to you sounded really rough.

You are too funny! PTSD running hehe I can only imagine. I'm already afraid of bees/wasps and I've never actually been stung!
