Getting back on track

Well it's been a long two months of ups and downs. I've certainly lacked motivation and that taken it's toll as I put on 5 pounds over two months. On the other hand I'm happy that it's only 5. It could have been a lot worse.

Thankfully my motivation is slowly coming back. I've been running/walking with a friend every day since Sunday, and it's been great. I'm hoping that soon I'll actually want to start running on my own again. Also, my friend and I are going to do a 6 miler in October, and the goal will be to run the entire thing. That would be super cool for her, and a good warm up for me for my 8K Thanksgiving Turkey Trot.

The next thing I really need to work on is eating right and tracking religiously again. Right now it's a little difficult because I'm working around classes again. I just need to get better at making food for lunch. Little steps.

Anyway, next blog should be September goals. Have to start thinking about those.
